I’m honored to serve as your 2024/2025 FAMP President. Inspired by JFK’s 1961 address, I challenge our 57,000 loan originators, members, and affiliates to unite in supporting the industry that sustains us all.
For 64 years, FAMP has been a pillar for loan originators, dedicated to advocacy, education, and networking. FAMP’s core mission is simple yet vital: to advocate, educate, and create networking opportunities for mortgage professionals across the state of Florida. Our mission is to equip mortgage professionals with the tools, resources, and representation needed to thrive in an ever-changing industry.
So how can you help your industry?
Step 1: Pay Your Dues
For just $149 a year, plus an optional $50 or $100 for PAC, you’re investing in our industry’s future. These funds support statewide events, networking, webinars, and CE courses. PAC contributions are crucial for legislative advocacy on key issues like Hometown Heroes, Trigger Leads, and condo/insurance reform. If you do nothing else, do Step 1.
Step 2: Participate
Engage in statewide events, webinars, CE classes, and our industry-leading tradeshow in August. Local chapters in Miami, Broward/Gold Coast, Orlando, Gulf Coast, and North Florida host events in cities like Ft. Myers, Sarasota, Tampa, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee. Stay connected through our monthly event calendar.
Step 3: Get Involved
Help shape the future of FAMP by joining as a Committee Chair, State Director, Board Member, or Regional Director. My journey started in Miami, learning how FAMP supports business owners. That led to leadership opportunities, eventually becoming FAMP President—one of my greatest professional achievements. It all starts with a simple call to your local chapter.
